Other Things You Should Know About Staying in Guanacaste
In our opinion, Guanacaste is a dreamy destination, but there are a few things to keep in mind to make the most of your stay:
- Itโs Dry and SunnyโMost of the Time
Guanacaste is known for its warm, dry climate, especially during the dry season (December to April). Itโs perfect for beach days and poolside lounging, but donโt forget that the dry air can make it really dusty. If youโre visiting during the green season (May to November), youโll experience some rain, (especially in the afternoons) but itโs nothing a good cocktail and a covered lounge chair canโt fix. - Sun Protection Is Key
The sun here doesnโt mess around! Pack a good sunscreen (reef-safe is best), a hat, and maybe even a rash guard if you plan on spending hours in the water. Trust usโsunburn is not the souvenir you want to take home. - Bring Your Chill Vibes
Life moves a little slower in Guanacaste, and thatโs a good thing. Embrace the laid-back pace, soak in the pura vida energy, and enjoy every moment of your stay. - Travel Insurance Is a Must
Things donโt always go as planned, and travel insurance can save the day. Whether itโs a delayed flight, lost luggage, or a medical issue, having coverage gives you peace of mind. Get a Travel Insurance Price Quote - Consider a Resort Day Pass
Want a taste of luxury without the price tag? Many Guanacaste resorts offer day passes so you can enjoy their pools, beaches, and restaurants. Check Availability
