The name “Nosara” is a bit confusing when trying to figure out where to stay.

This area is referred to as Nosara, but really the town of Nosara is a bit further inland and is probably not the place you want to stay.

Instead, you likely want to stay in the area called Playa Guiones. This is the relaxed beach village area that is popular with surfers.

Our Opinion
We love the variety of activities nearby and the beautiful garden setting. I think the spacious villas are perfect for families or couples.

Everything is simply beautiful here with a very minimalistic boutique feel to it.

Yaxa Hotel Nosara is super impressive. We love the location, how clean and comfortable the rooms are, and the warm hospitality of the hotel owners. The relaxed atmosphere and attentive (yet unobtrusive service) make it an ideal choice.
