Map of Uvita Hotels
Uvita is designed with a mix of hotels located on the beach, in the downtown area, and in the mountains above town. Each location definitely has its pros and cons.
If you opt to stay in the mountains above town you will likely need a 4×4 vehicle (ask at your hotel before booking a rental car). The views are amazing, but you will need to drive about 15 to 20 minutes to town and the beach.
Staying in the downtown area is great for easy access to restaurants, a short drive to the beach, and you can easily hop on the road for day trips. However, this area is busier and not as peaceful or beautiful.
Staying near the beach is great for direct beach access. It is also just a short drive to the downtown area for restaurants.
