Do you know the best way to get around  in costa rica?

There are two international airports in Costa Rica. One is located in the middle of the country in San Jose and the other is located in the northwest corner.

Getting to Costa Rica

Renting a car is best if you want the flexibility of exploring the country in depth.  If you are planning on doing a resort vacation, it is not necessary to rent a car.

A shared shuttle is a great transportation option if going between two somewhat popular Costa Rica destinations.  This is cheaper than a private shuttle.

If you need to get around in the town you are staying in or need a ride that is an hour or less from the airport, a taxi is generally the cheapest and most convenient option.

Costa Rica has a decent bus system throughout the country. Taking the public bus is incredibly cheap, but it is not always the most comfortable.

Domestic air travel within Costa Rica is great for when you are visiting the country for a limited time and want to get to your destination quickly.
