The Tortuguero National Park is located in the Costa Rican village of Tortuguero on the northern Caribbean coast.

It is home to thousands of miles of protected waterways and land that is filled with monkeys, sloths, birds, and more wildlife.

The best way to experience the national park is with a 6am boat ride with an experienced guide.

This area is also a protected area for green sea turtle nesting.
