The park is located in the Costa Rican village of Tortuguero on the northern Caribbean coast.


Where is Tortuguero National Park?

It is home to thousands of miles of protected waterways and land that is filled with monkeys, sloths, birds, and more wildlife.


The best way to experience the national park is with a 6am boat ride with an experienced guide.


This area is also a protected area for green sea turtle nesting.

During this time you can take a night tour to see the large turtles coming up on the beach to lay eggs


Keep in mind that the village is only accessible by boat from the village of La Pavona on the mainland.
