Usually, we are those people that tend to just go with the flow as far as travel planning, but when traveling in Costa Rica it’s a whole other story!
Sometimes you’ll deal with spots where you can’t connect to the internet to view your confirmation numbers, problems finding places, etc.
Because of this, we created a free Costa Rica travel planning packet to make organization a breeze.
This packet includes:
-A detailed packing checklist specifically designed for traveling in Costa Rica. We also have a complete packing list on our site for men and for women.
– A blank packing list that you can fill in on your own. We love this because Thomas loves fishing so we have a million little pieces of gear he likes to put on his checklist.
-A weekly schedule overview so you can plan out your general travel plan. This is super helpful for just glancing at quickly when looking at your trip plans. I also usually leave a copy with my family so they know what we are doing and which hotel they can reach us at while we are traveling.
-A daily schedule sheet which allows you to meticulously plan out each day. Just print out as many copies of this sheet as days you are traveling.
-A transportation overview sheet. This will allow you to keep track of your flight details and rental car confirmation info.
Note: We’ve partnered with our fave Costa Rica rental car company to bring you a 10% rental car discount, free second driver, and free cell phone to use. You can read more about this great deal here.
-A hotel overview sheet. This will allow you to keep track of all the info including check in and check out times, confirmation numbers, and location of every hotel you plan on staying at.
– A budget planning sheet. You can keep track of your projected budget as well as what you actually spent.
– A Costa Rica travel planning checklist. This will allow you to make sure you are fully prepared for your vacation. We also have an article detailing all these steps with A TON of helpful tips here.
We designed this free travel planning packet with Costa Rica travelers in mind, but you will probably find yourself using these sheets to help organize most of your travels (we sure do)!
We are going to Costa Rica on our honeymoon and this is all VERY helpful! Thanks so much for putting this together. I’m guessing this is all still pretty accurate for 2020. Thanks again!
Thanks for making this available! I do usually go with the flow and we are leaving early tomorrow morning so of course I’m doing this last minute.
Haha! I hope you have a great trip! 🙂
